What is Aleethia?

Aleethia is the name of the youth group at Pulaski Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Pulaski, VA.

The word itself, aleethia, is the english rendering of the greek word for truth. This word is used many times in the New Testament. Our favorite verse using this word is

John 14:6

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (ESV)

We chose to name our group Aleethia because we are excited about the Truth! The Truth that is Jesus.

Our goal is to equip young people to share this truth with others, and to grow

Ephesians 4:13

13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, (ESV)

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM for Bible study. You can find our current study by checking the sidebar to the right.

We also gather on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. The Wednesday night gatherings is our more intense study of Scripture. It usually lasts an hour and a half. You can find our current study in the right sidebar.
